• 8th Vibrant Gujarat Summit was held in Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar from January 10-13, 2017. The central focus of the summit was "Sustainable

Economic and Social Development".

• US participated as a Partner Country in the 2017 Vibrant Gujarat Global

Summit. The MoUs were signed in different sectors such as textile parks, textile processing, machinery, carpet development, etc.

• During the summit, Narendra Modi inaugurated India's first international exchange -India INX — at the International Financial Service Centre (IFSC) of GIFT City.
